Brian O’Connell Jr. is one of Western New York’s most successful attorneys. By promoting his commitment to
professional excellence, Mr. O’Connell has personally recovered millions of dollars for Southern Tier area clients.
Mr. O’Connell grew up in Olean, New York just minutes from The Brian O’Connell Jr. Law Firm. He attended Olean High School and received his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, New York and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York. Mr. O’Connell has been practicing law since 1993, focusing on serious personal injury and medical malpractice actions and criminal defense. Besides criminal defense, Mr. O’Connell’s criminal practice included numerous appointments as Special Prosecutor for Cattaraugus County. Due to his legal expertise, Mr. O’Connell has been sought as a frequent lecturer for Jamestown Community College’s continuing education program. He has also served as an adjunct professor in Jamestown Community College’s criminal justice program, teaching criminal law and criminal procedure. Mr. O’Connell lives in Olean, New York, with his wife, René, and his three children, Logan, Keenan and Makenna. He and his family actively participate in the community. Mr. O’Connell is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a National Irish Club, and is involved in Olean Youth Baseball as a sponsor and coach. Mr. O’Connell is also an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish with his family and friends and is a lifetime member of the Olean Rod and Gun Club. |
